Survey Manager/ Land Surveyor/ PLS

Develops scope of work, fee proposal, project schedule, determines resource needs and all other tasks required of a project plan. They will be responsible for execution of the project plan to meet all internal and external goals including profit, schedule, quality assurance, billing, receivables, defining manpower needs, team direction, and other requirements of project performance.

Accountable for providing leadership to the survey project team to achieve the goals and objectives of the projects. Responsibilities also include implementing project management standards and developing existing and future survey technicians and land surveyors.

Surveying Manager for Cary Office
Group management, growth and profitability
Day to day coordination with design staff survey needs
Workload projections
Resource and Equipment Evaluation
Management and recruitment of survey staff
Mentoring, leadership, and guidance
Policy and procedure evaluation and recommendations
QA/QC of survey deliverables
Design and Production Staff Team Support
Client maintenance
AutoCAD drawing development
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

Education/Experience Qualifications

– Professional Licensed Land Surveyor in North Carolina
– Driven to become licensed in SC, VA and GA
– 5+ years relevant progressive experience in survey project management
– Excellent communication skills
