We are hiring Survey Field Technicians / Crew Chiefs to help us keep growing! Energy Land and Infrastructure (ELI) is a growing regional professional engineering and survey firm focused on civil infrastructure serving the southeast and mid-Atlantic regions of the country. ELI’s market sector focus is primarily on Energy, Civil Infrastructure, Utilities, Transportation, and Land Development, for private, state and local government clients. ELI is corporately based in Nashville, Tennessee with additional offices in Tennessee, Virginia and North Carolina.
A qualified candidate would have the knowledge of various data collectors, data collection software, and GPS Equipment. A general knowledge of surveying principles, methods, and field procedures is helpful, however willingness to learn from instructions will be a consideration.
Accurate data collecting
Providing daily reports
Utilizing GPS equipment
Maintain company equipment as well as the company truck
Working with a team on most projects
Occasionally working out of town
Travel will be expected on as needed basis and must be able to work overtime. This position will require the applicant to work in outdoor conditions and must be able to lift and carry survey equipment.

ELI pays a competitive hourly rate with overtime (as directed by the team lead). This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position with paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays. Travel will be expected on as needed basis and must be able to work overtime.
