Human Resource Generalist
The Human Resource Generalist will support management in human resource-related tasks including enforcing company policies and practices. Occasional travel to ELI’s regional offices may be required. The HR Manager will report to the ELI leadership team based out of Nashville, TN.
Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, labor relations, organizational development, business or related degree
- At least one year of human resource management experience preferred
Task Description
Required skills and abilities include but are not limited to:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Be able to create a process for recruiting, evaluating, interviewing and hiring skilled individuals
- Perform routine tasks required to hire, discipline and terminate employees including but not limited to EVerify, background checks, drug screenings etc
- Create, edit and post internal announcements
- Onboarding, position description development, employee screening and assisting in developing an effective recruiting process
- Ensure organizational compliance with local, state and federal regulations
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Investigate employee issues and conflicts and assist with resolution
- Assist with constructive and timely performance evaluations
- Review and maintain resumes to ensure they are up to date
- Performs other duties as assigned
Compensation
Salary range: $50K – 60K
